The office was buzzing with lots going on when I arrived. I did not have a reservation, but Tyler got to work and got me taken care of in record time. He took the time to show me several different units and helped me to decide on just the right space for the items that I need to store and at a great rate. I would highly recommend this location. Unpleasant Experience at Airways Storage (.02 star was not available) On March 30, 2024, at approximately 2:30 PM, our Vice President of Operations visited Airways Storage located at 1699 Airways Blvd., Memphis, TN, to finalize a storage unit reservation made online for $104 (including a web fee). Unfortunately, the in-store representative, Tyler Foster, did not honor the online reservation price. He bypassed any discussion of the reservation details and requested identification. After the ID was provided, Mr. Foster directed our VP to obtain a lock and then immediately swiped the debit card for payment without disclosing the final total. When questioned about the price difference, which included an unexplained $20 lock fee and a final total of $180, Mr. Foster provided no explanation and simply offered the receipt. Additionally, upon inquiring about the storage unit location, Mr. Foster's response was unhelpful, lacked courtesy and just plain RUDE! While we appreciate the empathy shown by the representative named Kimberly we spoke with later, the overall experience at Airways Storage due to Mr. Foster's interaction was unacceptable. Given this experience, we will be seeking a full refund on Monday and exploring alternative storage options in the area.
