Operations – The Absolute Operations Department manages and optimizes the organization’s storage infrastructure. This includes provisioning, configuring, and maintaining storage systems, ensuring data availability and integrity, and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions. The department also monitors storage usage patterns, plans for capacity expansion, and collaborates with other IT teams to meet the organization’s data storage needs. Standing as the largest department, an Operations team member at Absolute has an average of 8 years of experience in Operations in the storage industry

Accounting – The Accounting Department at Absolute plays a pivotal role in supporting storage properties by ensuring financial transparency and stability. By meticulously tracking revenue and expenses, the department helps optimize operational efficiency and profitability, benefiting both the property and the storage owners. Additionally, they provide timely and accurate financial reports to storage owners, empowering them to make informed decisions about property management and investment strategies. In essence, the accounting department serves as a crucial bridge between the operational aspects of storage properties and the financial well-being of their owners.

Auctions – The auction team is vital in supporting the storage property owners and team members throughout the auction process, ensuring strict adherence to state lien laws while effectively managing and limiting legal risks. Their comprehensive understanding of the legal intricacies of lien laws ensures that the entire auction process is carried out compliantly and transparently. By meticulously handling the necessary paperwork and documentation, the team facilitates smooth and legally sound auctions, safeguarding the interests of both the storage property and Absolute. The auctions team provides valuable guidance to team members, ensuring they are well informed and trained to navigate the complexities of the auctions process. Absolute’s Auctions Department comprises Megan O’Connell, Kelly Amanda, and Angelica Locklear, offering over 11 years of storage experience.

Training – The training department supports Absolute managed properties by identifying training needs, designing and delivering relevant training programs to team members, and assessing the effectiveness of the training initiatives. Additionally, the training department has created a comprehensive and efficient onboarding program for new hires, from day 0 to day 90 and beyond, to provide full support and guarantee their success at Absolute. The training team has extensive experience in training and development, including formal education and over a decade of expertise in storage.

Human Resources – The Human Resources Department supports Absolute manages properties by hiring and onboarding new team members, managing team member benefits and payroll, and leading team member relations. The Human Resources Department also continuously reviews and updates policies and ensures the company complies with labor laws and regulations to create a positive and productive work environment for all team members. Led by HR Director Carrie Holbert, the team holds more than three decades of experience in all aspects of Human Resources.

Technology – The technology team at Absolute pushes the boundaries of technological advancements for the entire company while maintaining the existing technology systems. Our goal is to listen to feedback on how to make our team members’ jobs more streamlined and to figure out how to make this happen! The tech team comprises Shane Carlson, Kyle Borden, Jason Beekman, and Ian Canto – who have over 20 years of storage experience between them and many more years of experience with technology–based platforms!

The Sales Center, a subsidiary of the technology department, combines technology systems such as automation, IVR, VoIP phones, and many more with an amazing sales team to deliver the best possible service to our tenants and future tenants! The sales center agents and team have a whopping 33 years of storage experience between them and an ENTIRE lifetime of years of experience in sales and customer service experience.

Revenue Management – The revenue management team assists the property team by establishing rates and implementing tenant rate increases. This is achieved through data analytics, which enables us to comprehensively analyze each property’s market, competitors, and tenants. By leveraging these insights, we determine the most appropriate rate adjustments to enhance the property’s income. The team is responsible for implementing these strategic rate adjustments consists of Rachel Lewis, Samantha Lowery, and Amanda Bolton and has a combined storage experience of over 12 years.

Marketing – Led by Grace Totty, the marketing team of Michael McLaughlin, Cammy Santos, Yanna Mae, and Tony Ehiguese, is pivotal in supporting our storage properties. Through a comprehensive approach, they effectively promote our facilities and attract customers. Their efforts encompass a range of strategies, including leading industry-standard digital marketing techniques that optimize our online presence and visibility. This includes search engine optimization (SEO), targeted online ads, and engaging social media campaigns, all driving traffic and inquiries to our storage properties. Furthermore, the marketing team leverages local marketing efforts to establish a strong community presence. They train property team members to collaborate with nearby businesses and participate in local events to enhance brand recognition and foster relationships. The Marketing Department has an average of 8 years of marketing experience per team member. By tailoring this experience, each location’s marketing strategy is created so that the storage properties remain top-of-mind options for individuals and businesses seeking storage solutions.
