We are house shopping and can't wait to have it all in our new home. Oh, more importantly, last week we were contacted by Sigma and were told we didn't properly lock the unit!! I was in the Unit a week earlier and clearly didn't slide the lock over before padlocking it. I can't believe it, I was panicking!! Thank you so much for walking the building and obviously doing a great job eye balling everything. Highly recommend and we will aways mention it to anyone asking for a storage facility!!!! See you soon :)

The facility was well maintained, accessibility was generous, staff were friendly. The main reason I left was because I moved out of the area. However, would have stayed longer if my rate had not increased so much. I understand operating costs increase over time, especially in our current economy. No problem with $10 to $15 occasionally, but the last increase was almost $60 in one month. With budgets already tight that was a bit excessive in my opinion. I have nothing personal against Sigma Self Storage, overall good experience. I wish them continued success in the future.

Happy to be out of here. The first year was fine. The office ladies were straightforward and kind, especially when I lost my key and needed them to break my lock (at a cost). However, within months 12-14 my 5x5 unit increased twice by $10 and $20 (nearly double the original price). The office said there was nothing they could do. This prompted me to seek a new facility. The new facility allowed me to use my renters policy for insurance coverage. Sigma did not offer me this. Instead I paid the additional $9/mo for theirs. The new facility also allowed me to pay one year in full. Again, Sigma didn’t offer. Also, the interior of Sigma isn’t regularly cleaned. The same palmetto roach laid dead in the hallways for months. The bathroom toilet had feces stuck around the rim today. At move in a year ago everything seemed so tidy and well kept. I was certainly deceived. They also don’t offer a refund if you move out but already paid the month.

First, I was charged for a lock I did not need (I still had the one I purchased from them last time.) But they refused to refund me. Second, there is a lack of carts. There are only two at each entrance. When I visited on a busy day, I had to wait half an hour for one.

They have increased the price TWICE in the past six months. Price increases are inevitable, but since February my unit price has gone up by $50 per month. Two stars for the unit itself... it's a storage unit so it's hard to mess up.

What happened to Sherry? I loved stopping by and chatting with her and Amanda but Amanda doesn’t seem to be there anymore either. The replacement I believe her name is Kristin is very unprofessional rude and unknowledgeable. She has a very nervous behavior about her that doesn’t look professional at all. Every time I speak with her in person or by phone every other word is “umm”. I no longer feel like my belongings are safe when the employee has no clue what she is doing and especially talking about. I have really loved this place and have been a loyal customer since Sigma opened but do not like the new staff winging a conversation she knows nothing about. As a small business owner when you find good employees do whatever you can to keep them. It’s a shame that I feel like I have to move my belongings because staff is unprofessional and unknowledgeable. I live in Midtown and many of the people I talk to that use you guys feel the same.

Be careful if you buy storage auctions. The unit I purched was for sure a set up. It's the risk you take when buying storage auctions you just have to learn and move on and leave a review.

This place is a joke. As if moving isn’t stressful enough, it’s not until after I signed the agreement I realize they didn’t give me the floor of the unit I reserved. (My bad on not rechecking My reservation while I was there) but then the day were moving our heaviest stuff the elevator is broken and we have to go to the one furthest from out unit. Now I get a bill after my first month when I signed for first two months free?? I tried to ignore the fact that the place was not clean and that the customer service was mediocre at best when trying to get everything signed. But this place is a constant let down and constantly not providing what I asked for.

My furniture has been stored at Sigma Drive Self Storage which is an indoor, supposedly “climate controlled “ storage facility. All of my furniture and belongings are now covered in mold. Furthermore, the company refuses to take full responsibility for the damage despite my several attempts notifying them and showing them the damage.
